Marrakech’s Medina, a maze-like medieval quarter, offers entertainment in its Djemaa el-Fna square and souks (marketplaces) selling ceramics, jewelry and metal lanterns. The capital Rabat’s Kasbah of the Udayas is a 12th-century royal fort overlooking the water. Morocco’s ancient Roman and Islamic sites, and its landscape and cultural history are sought by the Tourists. Agadir is a major coastal resort and is a base for tours to the Atlas Mountains. The Capital City is Rabat. The City of Chefchaouen, with its famous blue-washed buildings and red-tiled roofs, is one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco. Casablanca is the main gateway to Morocco and first taste of the country, as it is home to the primary international airport. It is a bustling city and a business powerhouse and industrial center, with a modern outlook.
