Nepal is a destination for people seeking adventure. Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world and Lumbini, the Birthplace of Buddha are both located in Nepal. The country is also famous for adventure and ecotourism and it has 8 of the 10 highest mountains in the world. Nepal has many activities a tourist may enjoy i.e. mountain biking, bungee jumping, rock and mountain climbing, trekking, hiking, bird watching, paragliding and hot air ballooning over the mountains, exploring the waterways by raft, kayak or canoe and jungle safaris especially in the Terai region. Kathmandu is the capital City and well connected by road and air with India and other countries. It is also a pilgrimage destination for Hindus.
