A Scandinavian country of mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords. The capital Oslo has green spaces and museums. Preserved 9th-century Viking ships are displayed at Oslo’s Viking Ship Museum. Bergen is the starting point for cruises to the dramatic Sognefjord. Norway is also known for fishing, hiking and skiing.

The main attractions of Norway are fjords, mountains, ski resorts, lakes, waterfalls and woods. Much of the nature of Norway remains unspoiled thus attracts numerous hikers and skiers. The Holmenkollen Ski Jump is popular. It is distinct from other countries in Europe as it has fewer palaces and castles instead it has smaller agriculture farms.
