There are also many historic castles, houses, and battlegrounds, ruins and museums. Many people are drawn by the culture of Scotland. The main tourist season is from April to October. In addition Scotland is an important Golf,Fishing, Food and Drink destination.

Edinburgh is the capital City and is known for its Castle, Zoo and four famous Universities. Other towns include Glasgow, Aberdeen and St.Andrews (Mecca for Golfing).
