Katra is the base camp of the shrine. It is situated 50 kilometers (null.06 miles) from Jammu. Thousands of devotees regularly throng Mata’s shrine in belief that Mata will grant their wishes, albeit in the righteous sense of the word. A pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi is considered to be one of the holiest in the country. Also, there is wide range of good resorts & hotels in Katra for visitors where tourist can feel the comfort of home.

Day 01: Arrival – Jammu – Katra

Pick up from Jammu Airport/ Katra Railway Station and transfer to Katra Hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Katra.

Day 02: Katra - Vaishno Devi darshan

Early morning after breakfast, proceed for Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan- one of the most popular pilgrimages of India situated in the lap of Trikuta Mountains across Katra town at an altitude of around 5200 feet. Yatra involves a trek of nearly 12 Kms from base camp at Katra known as Ban Ganga. Alternate way to perform darshans is by Ponies/Palkis/ Helicopter (at extra cost). If time permits, visit Bhairo Temple & return back to Katra in the evening.

You can opt for Darshan by helicopter too at a extra cost.

Dinner and overnight at Katra.

Day 03: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed for drop at Jammu Airport/Katra Railway Station for your onward journey with sweet memories of the tour.
